Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Moby ("Moby", "we", "us"), a dating and matchmaking service. By creating an account or using Moby, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Moby. We verify your date of birth at registration and will terminate accounts that do not meet this requirement.

2. Your account

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information on your profile.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You may not impersonate another person or create an account on someone else's behalf.
• One person, one account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Post unlawful, hateful, sexually exploitative, or misleading content.
• Solicit money from, defraud, or spam other users.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service.
• Use Moby if you are a convicted sex offender.

We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Content you share

You retain ownership of the content you post. You grant Moby a limited licence to host and display that content for the purpose of operating the service. You are responsible for the content you choose to share with other users.

5. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent — your account and profile cannot be recovered. Some information may persist briefly in backups and operational logs for up to 28 days, after which it is removed. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Disclaimers

Moby does not conduct criminal background checks on users. We do not guarantee the conduct or identity of any user. Always exercise caution and meet new people in safe, public settings. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moby is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, or from interactions with other users.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will notify you. Continued use of Moby after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
